- A.B Harrington- Attorney
A.B. is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School Of Law in Chapel Hill, where he received his law degree (J.D.) in 1967. His legal background is varied, but he has focused on helping people with their debt problems through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 since 1971. Prior to opening his solo practice in Sanford, A.B. worked for a law firm in Ahoskie, NC and served as a Solicitor in Domestic Relations Court in High Point, NC from 1967-68. A.B. received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1963.He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Gideons. He is admitted to practice in all North Carolina state courts, the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina Federal Court. Every other weekend A.B. goes to the Lee County jail and visits with the prisoners.
In addition to helping you get relief from debt problems and a fresh start, A.B.?s goal is to help you understand the bankruptcy process. When you come for your first free consultation with A.B., his goal is to give you the information to make an informed decision about your situation- not to talk you in to being a client. He believes an initial consultation is a success if he?s been able to give you information about your options and an objective view of your financial situation.
- Brooke Wickman - Office Manager/Executive Legal Assistant
A.B. often refers to Brooke as his right and left hand person. She is the backbone of the operation and is able to keep everything running smoothly. She loves working with our clients and receives praise for her efficient, patient and understanding way of helping our clients through a very stressful time in their lives. Brooke has been with the firm since 2006.
Prior to joining the law firm, she worked as a tax preparer. She gained valuable customer service skills and became experienced at dealing with people's delicate financial issues. Her natural accounting and problem-solving abilities make her very skilled at preparing bankruptcy petitions. She is extremely energetic and works hard to make sure you have the very best experience with our office.
- Tiffany Godwin
The newest addition to our office and definitely a very important part to our success. Tiffany is a well motivated worker who enjoys being able to help others in need. She looks forward to new tasks. She is very friendly and easy-going which is perfect for dealing with clients who are in unfortunate and uncomfortable situations. Client needs are her first priority, which means she goes the extra mile to explain the paperwork thoroughly. When clients decided to go through with the process, Tiffany becomes their go-to person for information.
